LED Dance Floor Lighting

A controller box that controls 12 separate RGBW LED strips in parallel. Each of the LED strips are 5 meters long with a total of 150 individually addressable RGBW LEDs. That is a total of 7200 LEDs that are all controlled at once!

The controller allows the DJ to change the light pattern, LED colors, and brightness in real time. A relatively fast refresh rate allows for a fluid light show above the dance floor.

This project contains a slew of electronic, software, and mechanical design. This project took a year to come together during the part shortage after the pandemic.
